Java 8 now supported / required.

From version 5.10 of Commander4j you will need Oracle Java 1.8 or higher to run Commander4j. You can either install this yourself as a system wide JVM on your computer or install a version of Commander4j which includes it as part of the install. (includes jre in filename).

Version 4.16 and Oracle

There is a bug in the upgrade script for schema version 76 which has just come to light. This will only effect Oracle databases. I will be uploading version 4.17 (Schema version 77) later today with corrects this issue.

I have used Google Docs to translate the default English into French, German and Polish and put the results back into version 4.15 as an automatic upgrade. Some of the text will need correcting but I'm sure it's a significant start.

There is a web application which runs as a servlet on a apache tomcat server. It's designed primarily to let the user scan and confirm labels as being made, and then adding them to a despatch.

Any ideas about how your want that functionality extended are most welcome.

I have a spreadsheet I can send you. It creates the sql that I then include in the application to insert the new translations.
